Rosa Rodriguez

Rosa Rodriguez is a Spanish photographer interested in societies and traditions and their influence on humanity.

Her current work focuses on communities that maintain a strong connection with nature in their way of life, and on highlighting the need to conserve our planet’s unique natural habitats.

Therefore, since 2016, she has carried out her work in the Arctic, one of most inhospitable and threatened parts of the world. She has been living alongside Nenets, Sami and Inuit, groups who maintain a strong connection with nature in their way of life.

The White Line won in 2020 Sustainable Price by IWPA, Shortlist Luma Rencontres Arles, and Selected Visa pour l´image Canon development programme, and won Scholarship Roberto Villagraz by EFTI 2019.

Also, has had solo exhibitions in Kursala University Cadiz 2021, Festival Encontros da Imagem 2020, ART PHOTO BCN 2020, and collective exhibitions in Tokyo, Kyoto, Geneva, and Ryad among others.
